Blackthorn is about one of the western era's favorite characters, Butch Cassidy. According to the rumor, the two notorious robbers Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid died in 1908 in Bolivia, but no one knows for sure. Blackthorn tells the story of a Cassidy that 19 years later is living in the wilderness under the name James Blackthorn. Plans to return to the US still exists and with all the money he has, he decides one day to leave. When the Spaniard Eduardo scares Blackthorns' horse with everything he owns, Blackthorn follows instead with Eduardo in an adventure that makes the duo a target for gangs and lawmen alike
