A group of young men in Naples are attracted by quick money, designer brands and respect. They turn to crime to finance their lifestyles and the bond between them grows. Soon, the local mafia, the Camorra family, starts to notice them. 15-year-old Nicola quickly finds his place in the organization and is soon appointed leader of his own group. The pistols are exchanged for machine guns and roaming the streets of Naples, they are driven further and further into organized crime. The film is based on Roberto Saviano's best-selling novel The Piranhas: The Boy Bosses of Naples and was awarded a Silver Bear at the Berlin film festival.
