After losing his job in the middle of a divorce, Duval has been burned out of stress. He receives a job offer to transcribe intercepted calls and the thought of a calm job stops him from thinking about the circumstances of the new job. He spends his days writing down unknown people's conversations, but one day he hears something he shouldn’t have heard, and soon he is caught in a storm of political conspiracies and mysterious disappearances.
