Hitchcock/Truffaut
1962 interviewed François Truffaut Alfred Hitchcock in a week's time to take some of the secrets behind his filmmaking. The interviews resulted in a book that is considered a standard work in film science. Now Kent Jones made a documentary of the original interviews, and even interviews with contemporary filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese, Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Wes Andersson, Peter Bogdanovich and others their relationship to and interpretations of Hitchcock's movies.
