The Silence of the Lambs
In 1988, writer Thomas Harris made a great success with the thriller The Silence of the Lambs. But this film by director Jonathan Demmes was almost a bigger success. Several women are found murdered, and next to the body there is a skull butterfly. A serial killer is suspected of ravaging. The FBI needs assistance from Hannibal Lecter, psychiatrist, an expert on mass murder, who is himself injured after serious crimes. FBI aspirant Clarice Starling assumes the mission to try and get Lecter to collaborate. Lecter offers a counselor on condition that Starling in exchange tells each secret a secret from one's own. At the same time, the killer continues his dark act. Starling is now facing a fatal challenge. The film has won several rewarding prizes.
