Nälkämaan Sampo is a life cycle documentary directed by Mika Koskinen. The documentary is based on years of follow-up on the various phases of the Talvivaara mine. However, the movie is not only about the mine. Through the mine project that has turned into a national tragicomedy, the movie also provides an interesting image of the Finnish society.
